The company "Frank & Kahlert" was founded by Emil Frank
and Karl Kahlert in 1947 in West-Germany.
In 1959 Emil Frank leaves the company and
Karl Kahlert is the sole owner of the company.

The early lamps for dolls houses made by Frank & Kahlert
I present at the end of this post with my my lamp shop.
We start with the lamps of the 60s and 70s.
Some of the models were produced for many years.

This dolls house was built in 1962 by a father for his daughter Barbara.
You can detect two Kahlert lamps in it:
on the right the lamp with the table
and another one on the outside wall on the left.

Lampenladen - Frank und Kahlert - lighting shop

1953

1953 the advertisement above was published.
There were later advertisements with this lamp shop
and each one had a slightly different choice of lamps on display.
They were made for decoration in toy shops to sell the lamps.
My shop is one of the early ones.
The lamps are fixed on the floor because this room box
was only a show room.
Two of the lamps are without shades,
one lamp is missing and a photo was fixed to the wall at some time.
Apart of that it has survived very well.

In meinem Lampenladen fehlen einige Lampenschirme,
